About Us
Celebrating the Black Experience
The University of Lethbridge's Black Students' Association (ULBSA) was founded in 2012 under the name "University of Lethbridge's African and Caribbean Students Association". Since then, the club has focused on enriching the black student experience through displays of acceptance, cultural celebrations, education, and awareness of the black experience. Our mission is to display the excellence, joy, perseverance, dedication, and intelligence that exists within the black student body.

ULBSA Executive Members
Rooted in our motto - enrich, empower, educate - we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment that resonates with the diverse experiences within our black community.
Together, we strive to enrich minds by curating enlightening discussions, and cultural showcases. We empower our peers with mentorship, leadership, and spaces for personal growth. Through our educational efforts, we shed light on the rich tapestry of black history, cultivating understanding and dismantling misconceptions.
Our goal? To empower every student with a profound appreciation for the black experience and the tools to become advocates for positive change. Join us in celebrating diversity, fostering unity, and shaping a brighter future. Together, we're not just a club – we're a movement.
